IMG_0754Anne has inspired a love of reading in schools and libraries for over 15 years, twice with TD Canada Book Week, at literary festivals, and across the country from Lunenburg to the Hadai Gwaii.

Flexible and interactive, she tailors each visit to grade level and interest.

Anne can story-tell her books to young children or
she offers a choice of three powerpoint presentations:

  • personal research that inspired the writing of The Shepherd’s Grandaughter and related social justice issues (for any size of audience, ages 12 – adult);
  • highlights of Anne’s favourite books to show where ideas come from and inspire reading;
  • for primary grades a focus on Night Boy (themes of astronomy and rhyme),  The F Team (hockey and rhyme),  My Home Bay (a true story about moving) or From Poppa (grandparents in our lives).
