Building a website

IMG_3140

Two years ago, I made the blooper of letting a domain name expire. The result?

My professional website (which took months to build ) was illegally copied and linked to a  drug site. I’ve tried contacting them, and Google, but perhaps they are all too busy taking what they sell to respond.

My philosophy is to solve a problem as best I can, and move on.

So the real result – happily – is this new website.

I enjoy learning and wanted to make updates myself.  I took a 2 day workshop in Toronto with Ruth Maude and Dawn Comber at http://learnwp.ca.  If you don’t know your backend from your front (who makes up these terms?) or html or how to pick a WordPress theme, I highly recommend them.

Ta-da! I also know a widget from a plugin and am pixel-pleased that I do.
