Building a website

Two years ago, I made the blooper of letting a domain name expire. The result?

My professional website (which took months to build ) was illegally copied and linked to a  drug site. I’ve tried contacting them, and Google, but perhaps they are all too busy taking what they sell to respond.

My philosophy is to solve a problem as best I can, and move on.

So the real result – happily – is this new website.

I enjoy learning and wanted to make updates myself.  I took a 2 day workshop in Toronto with Ruth Maude and Dawn Comber at  If you don’t know your backend from your front (who makes up these terms?) or html or how to pick a WordPress theme, I highly recommend them.

Ta-da! I also know a widget from a plugin and am pixel-pleased that I do.
